Animations for book trailers can be either teasers, not showing all the content of the book, or full animations meant to showcase the whole book. Most of children's books authors choose a 1 minute trailer to use as an advertisement unless there is a special reason, like singing/music (first and last example) or if they want the animation to be a read-along aid for the children.
